Starting from Dolgellau
follow the A470 towards Barmouth, but after about a mile
turn right onto the A494 to Bala.
After Bala. turn left onto the
A4212, this is a great road that has you winding past a picturesque landscape of forests and a
lake.
After 18 miles or so take the right hand turning onto the B4391
towards Ffestiniog (Caution, this turning is not well sign posted and is just
after a bend)
Follow this road until to reach Ffestiniog
then it's a quick right/left onto the B4391/A496 and follow the signs for
Harlech.
Then it's just a case of following the coast road into
Barmouth for Fish and Chips.
