To commemorate (or should that be celebrate?) Bonzo’s move from the Midlands to Wales we decided to have a little ride out west and have a wander around the excellent landscape that makes up Elan Valley.
We all left the Midlands and headed on down to the lovely picturesque town of Malvern to meet up with Ray and his stealth designed Fireblade as which we headed off to towards Bromyard and Leominster along the excellent A44.
After circumnavigating Leominster we headed to Crossgates, again on the A44 where we stopped at Crossgates Services for a much needed breakfast and fuel (for Ray)
Following on from our food stop we then made the quick journey through Rhayader and into Elan Valley.
You may have noticed that we seem to visit Elan Valley quite often, and there’s a simple explanation for that, it’s a stunning place! The scenery is stupendous.
After a wander around the dams and lakes we finished off at the visitor centre for a well deserved coffee and cake!
